For many teenagers, being a part of a youth group forms a framework and foundation that will endure for many years beyond their time spent at youth group. This means we have an excellent opportunity to model and teach well how men and women partner together as part of God’s family.
This seminar is pitched at a popular level. We consider the roles of men and women while leading youth, paying particular attention to the differences between youth and intergenerational gatherings. We offer some observations of what questions youth are asking and the challenges they are facing, and give some examples of how we have sought to honour God in our diversity while leading youth.
