During this time of physical separation from others, it is important and good to keep with—or begin—godly habits. Written prayers—whether those in the Bible, those written by Christians throughout church history or the prayers we write ourselves—can be helpful for us to use to develop, refresh and appreciate our prayer times. They can help our concentration when we pray. Furthermore, we can learn from others prayers about God and about ourselves.

Acknowledging that days can be long with quarantined children in the home, Betsy Childs Howard complied this fun playlist. She writes,
This playlist is not meant for bedtime, nor were the songs chosen to teach kids theology (although some of them do just that). These upbeat songs are meant to help kids get their energy out, to help parents laugh instead of cry, and to help us make a joyful noise to the Lord.

This is an article I wrote in 2018 for Southern Cross. I chose the topic of death after spending some time reading what other Christians had written and said about death, and how helpful and comforting I found their words. Those Christians helped me focus on what really matters each day, and the sure and certain hope a Christian has beyond the grave.
