Whether you know it or not, you know women who have had an abortion, and men, parents, siblings and others whose lives have also been touched by abortion—in our churches, workplaces and even families. These days, a woman’s “right to choose” is almost unquestionable dogma in our society. We consider the ideological and societal trends that have got us here, and how we can best love and protect all those made in the image of God, and care for women facing unplanned pregnancies and those who have ended pregnancies. The biblical teaching about the sanctity of all human life is assumed (rather than expounded), and the workshop may include discussion of medical procedures.
